We are here to serve one another and care for our community's physical, educational, and spiritual needs. We believe God has placed Christ Lutheran in the Milford community to be a center for care, Christian education, and public witness of the Truth of Jesus.

We Love Our Milford Community

From stocking our food pantry to our prayer walks downtown, these ministries grow from our desire to love our neighbors well. Here are just some of the things we’re involved in.

Our on-site “food cubby” provides free groceries and essentials to anyone facing food insecurity.

Our members walk Milford’s streets and neighborhoods, praying for the families, businesses, and needs they encounter along the way.

We’ve partnered with Milford Memories to setup and maintain a diaper changing station, making it easier for families to enjoy the event activities.

Journey with Jesus

We host a live nativity on our grounds to reach out to the community and share the reason for the Christmas season—Jesus! Usually held the second full weekend in December

Vacation Bible School

One week each summer filled with Bible stories, crafts, games, and new friendships for kids from all over Milford.

Supporting local makers while giving our community another reason to gather and browse.

Trunk or Treat

Bring the kids for a night of safe trick-or-treating, creative car displays, and a parking lot full of neighborhood fun.

Red Cross Blood Drives

Four times a year (in September, November, February, and May), we host the American Red Cross to run community blood drives.

Other Areas We Serve Our Community

  • Provide winter gear for Johnson Elementary students
  • Support summer meals for South Lyon schools
  • Supply hygiene and clothing items for Huron Valley high school students
  • Assemble Easter baskets and “Mitten Tree” winter clothing items for St. Paul Community Lutheran
  • Support Anchored Hope Outreach
  • Donate Mite Box funds to local needs and missions
  • Work with Community Sharing Outreach
